About Melissa Wuske

God has created me to offer others gracious, spacious community through spiritual direction. I was raised in a Christian church with a deep understanding of scripture and a strong ethic for serving in ministry. But throughout adulthood, I’ve had a growing awareness of the work of the Holy Spirit and a deep need for the soul nourishment that comes only from God. In 2017, I began meeting with a spiritual director. My time with her has helped nourish my soul during several difficult years and gave me the space to hear from God about my calling. I believe God has created me to offer others gracious, spacious community through spiritual direction. In 2022, I graduated from Selah, a two-year training program for spiritual directors through Leadership Transformations. In addition to spiritual direction, I am an editor and writer—but I’m a reader first. I love cooking and swimming. I live in Cincinnati, Ohio, with my husband, who is a minister, and my son, who is adorable.
