Boston Re-entry Collaborative

Vision: To unleash the human and spiritual potential of incarceration men and women

Two Objectives:

  • To awaken, educate and engage Boston area churches to care for inmates

  • To offer inmates a Christian re-entry strategy that begins at the time of sentencing 

Four Initiatives:

  • In House discipline care for those who are presently incarcerated 

  • Holistic Re-entry care in partnership with existing services

  • Ministry to families affected by incarceration 

  • Policy advocacy on behalf of criminal justice reform

 

 Serving those affected by incarceration 

  • Letter writing

  • Hosting a RETHINKING INCARCERATION study group at my church

  • Soul Care Bible Studies in the Suffolk County Jail

  • Visiting inmates in a state institution

  • Tutoring inmates with their college classes

  • Mentoring returning citizens upon their release

  • Family support

  • Join an Incarceration MicroChurch Service
